Camp Courage was started in 2008 by Gabriela Guefen in an effort to provide kids with arthritis the chance to play soccer in a noncompetitive environment and go to camp.
Camp is free for all kids with arthritis ages 5-15 and their siblings who we at camp believe feel the devastating effects of arthritis through their brothers and sisters.
Camp is held annually for one day. The day comprises of professional soccer coaching, skill work, fun drills and games, art projects, and always many surprises. Water, gatorade, snacks and lunch are provided.
Camp Courage welcomes all children with arthritis and their siblings, regardless of their ability to play soccer.
